Army Combat Action BadgeOn 2 May 2005, the Chief of Staff, Army, approved the creation of the Combat Action Badge(CAB) to provide special recognition to soldiers who personally engage, or are engaged by the enemy during combat operations. The badges in the CAB series will include first award, second award, third award and fourth award and will be available in either bright or subdued finish.
